But many people also like to just take it easy - and sit back and enjoy the experience away from the stress of work.

Self-catering can make a cottage holiday in Calne much more flexible, allowing you to eat whatever you want (or can cook). From home cooked meals to pub lunches and from smart restaurants to take away pizza, there's much more choice. If you're like the majority of people you are probably assuming you will travel to Calne by car. With the cost of petrol ever increasing it's worth investigating alternative travel arrangements. You could go by train or coach, with a short taxi ride at the other end, and then hire some bicycles to get around.
