Cottages are usually found in country villages and areas, but can be modern as well as traditional. This year we have seen more cottages available in Harleston than ever before. Although we can't promise this for all our cottages in Harleston and Suffolk, many of them are very close to a number of outdoor facilities. Couples can take long romantic walks (or even silent ones!), friends can get on bicycles, families can visit adventure parks or play tennis. Or perhaps you're more interested in a pint of beer, a glass of wine or a gin and tonic in a traditional country pub?

The best thing (at least as far as we're concerned) about staying in a Harleston holiday cottage is the self-catering. Whether you love cooking up a large stew, a roast dinner or just prefer a toasted cheese sandwich - it can match your mood. Cars are by far the preferred mode of transport and travel to Harleston and Suffolk. But we'd suggest that taking the car can add to the stress levels and you can arrive exhausted from a long drive. Trains, buses and coaches are a much more carbon friendly solution since the fuel is shared by so many more people.
