Many of our Lauder properties are in outstanding areas of natural beauty. More than ever before, there's a good selection of holiday cottages in and around Lauder. If you are holidaying with your family, a Lauder cottage can be the perfect place to stay - both for you and your children. Because you can do whatever you want, whenever you want, and don't have to worry about anyone getting upset.

We suggest that you check with everyone in advance to ensure that you have the right number of beds and bedrooms.

With a property selection as wide as ours, it's no surprise that we have a good selection of cottages in Lauder. Although we can't promise this for all our cottages in Lauder and Scottish Borders, many of them are very close to a number of outdoor facilities. These can include mountain biking, swimming, road cycling, climbing, canoeing, flying kites, shooting - as well as tennis and golf. But many people also like to just take it easy - and sit back and enjoy the experience away from the stress of work.

One of the great benefits of cottage holidays in Lauder is being able to self-cater, or at least do your own thing. It's great to cook your own food, know exactly what ingredients are going in, and enjoying the reward of a great meal. Cars are by far the preferred mode of transport and travel to Lauder and Scottish Borders. But we'd suggest that taking the car can add to the stress levels and you can arrive exhausted from a long drive. Buses and coaches are often surprisingly good value, and a train journey will take you through countryside you'll never see from the road.
