However, if you're like us, we tend to use the time to relax, read a good book, catch up on sleep and generally laze around.

When staying with friends we think self-catering is the best way to stay in Alyth, it's just more fun. It's great to cook your own food, know exactly what ingredients are going in, and enjoying the reward of a great meal. Most people will drive to their destination because it gives them increased mobility on their holiday. But we'd suggest that taking the car can add to the stress levels and you can arrive exhausted from a long drive.
