Families can enjoy long bike rides, couples can enjoy energetic walks and groups of friends can be more adventurous, such as climbing. Or perhaps you're more interested in a pint of beer, a glass of wine or a gin and tonic in a traditional country pub?

The best thing (at least as far as we're concerned) about staying in a Gedling holiday cottage is the self-catering. From home cooked meals to pub lunches and from smart restaurants to take away pizza, there's much more choice. Cars are by far the preferred mode of transport and travel to Gedling and Nottinghamshire. With the cost of petrol ever increasing it's worth investigating alternative travel arrangements. Trains, buses and coaches are a much more carbon friendly solution since the fuel is shared by so many more people.
