These can include mountain biking, swimming, road cycling, climbing, canoeing, flying kites, shooting - as well as tennis and golf. But many people also like to just take it easy - and sit back and enjoy the experience away from the stress of work.

If you like self-catering then there really is no better option than a holiday cottage in Seahouses. It's great to cook your own food, know exactly what ingredients are going in, and enjoying the reward of a great meal. Cars are by far the preferred mode of transport and travel to Seahouses and Northumberland. Although it's good to be able to hop in the car to the nearest town when you get there - don't you really just want to get away from it all? Although most places are going to be out of reach by bicycle the UK train and coach network can get you very close.
