FILTER COTTAGES
Wherever you visit, you can usually find a good variety of places to stay; we realise that this isn't just restricted to cottages and that there is competition from b&bs and hotels. Many of our Largs properties are in outstanding areas of natural beauty. The selection of Largs holiday cottages is increasing every year. Taking your family away can be fun and stressful, but we find that staying in a cottage takes much of that stress away. The freedom to be able to come and go as you please, being able to cook your own food, or just being able to sleep in as long as you want.

There are many rental cottages in North Ayrshire that can accommodate you. The busiest times of year will be around the school summer holiday, so if you don't have kids, you may want to avoid July and August. When you are looking for the right holiday cottage in Largs, there are a few considerations to bear in mind. Although location and the core facilities play a large part in the decision, please make sure you pay attention to the beds. Make sure you know who is prepared to share a room, and who isn't - it's not always obvious til you ask.
With a property selection as wide as ours, it's no surprise that we have a good selection of cottages in Largs. If you want to query any part of your booking you should get in touch with the company that took your reservation and sent you a confirmation email. If you're travelling with a group of friends you may want to burn some energy and get outdoors, and there are several options in and around Largs. There are usually opportunities to play golf or tennis, or if you're into solo sports there's always biking, running and sometimes archery. Or maybe you'd be happier sitting by the side of a river with a fishing rod, a cup of coffee and a good friend?

The best thing (at least as far as we're concerned) about staying in a Largs holiday cottage is the self-catering. It's great to cook your own food, know exactly what ingredients are going in, and enjoying the reward of a great meal. Most people will drive to their destination because it gives them increased mobility on their holiday. With the cost of petrol ever increasing it's worth investigating alternative travel arrangements. You could go by train or coach, with a short taxi ride at the other end, and then hire some bicycles to get around.
