Norfolk is blessed with a large number of very excellent holiday cottages suitable for families, couples and just friends. We just find the cottages for you - we do not make the bookings - so if there are any issues please contact the reservation agency or cottage directly. Holiday makers often like to get out into the country and take part in open-air activities, and in Norfolk there are number of great options. Families can enjoy long bike rides, couples can enjoy energetic walks and groups of friends can be more adventurous, such as climbing. Or perhaps you're more interested in a pint of beer, a glass of wine or a gin and tonic in a traditional country pub?

One of the great benefits of cottage holidays in Sheringham is being able to self-cater, or at least do your own thing. It's a relief to be able to eat whatever you fancy, and any time of the day, and of course self-catering can include take-aways. Without a doubt the main way holiday makers get to their cottage is by car, because it's the easiest. But have you considered taking a more environmentally sound approach, one that uses less carbon? Although most places are going to be out of reach by bicycle the UK train and coach network can get you very close.
