The range of accommodation available in the UK is impressive, and this not only allows holiday makers to choose from many alternatives, but also keeps the prices competitive. Many of our Sandringham properties are in outstanding areas of natural beauty. This year we have seen more cottages available in Sandringham than ever before. Children enjoy staying in cottages even more than adults, because there's a huge sense of freedom that they just don't get in a hotel, staying with friends or even at home. Because you can do whatever you want, whenever you want, and don't have to worry about anyone getting upset.

Some of the best cottages in Sandringham are available for rent. Please try to book your holiday in advance as last minute reservations are possible but obviously not guaranteed! Choosing the right Sandringham accommodation is sometimes complicated when there are so many factors. Understanding how many beds you need is often more important that any of the other facilities such as wi-fi. Make sure you know who is prepared to share a room, and who isn't - it's not always obvious til you ask.
Some of the best cottages in Norfolk can be found in and around Sandringham, so we hope you find what you need. Our site is focused on finding and recommending accommodation, we do not make the bookings, so if you have concerns, please contact the company who took your booking. Sandringham and Norfolk have a number of great things to do if you want to sample the fresh air and move a few muscles. These can include mountain biking, swimming, road cycling, climbing, canoeing, flying kites, shooting - as well as tennis and golf. Or perhaps you're more interested in a pint of beer, a glass of wine or a gin and tonic in a traditional country pub?

When staying with friends we think self-catering is the best way to stay in Sandringham, it's just more fun. It's a relief to be able to eat whatever you fancy, and any time of the day, and of course self-catering can include take-aways. If you're like the majority of people you are probably assuming you will travel to Sandringham by car. With the rise in petrol and the cost of wear and tear on your car you should consider other options. Kids can find the adventure of a train or coach far more interesting, and it takes away the stress of navigation.

Norfolk

'Norfolk has a reputation for being a little flat, and there is much truth to that. But that does not mean that the county is not a great place to stay in a holiday cottage. The variety of countryside is still quite significant including a stunning coastline (particularly along North Norfolk), rolling chalklands, woodland, forests, and world renowned charm of the Norfolk Broads - which many people do not realise are actually man made.

Norfolks huge range of local attractions and facilities including arts and crafts, boutique hotels, beautiful gardens, amazing museums, exciting zoos, fine dining and casual restaurants, lovely old tea-rooms, pubs and inns. At one point Norwich was said to have enough pubs to visit a different one every day for a year, and a different church for every Sunday.

Norfolk has a rich heritage of Roman ruins including castles, walls and roads as well as beautiful churches, wonderful ... (more)
