Many of our Sconser properties are in outstanding areas of natural beauty. This year we have seen more cottages available in Sconser than ever before. If you are holidaying with your family, a Sconser cottage can be the perfect place to stay - both for you and your children. So you can let you kids do whatever they want (as long as you're happy!) without fear of being too noisy or too messy.

A cottage can be perfect for a very short break or very long holiday. We work with some of the best cottage operators and agencies in the UK and so if we don't have a suitable property, you may find it doesn't exist. Choosing the right Sconser accommodation is sometimes complicated when there are so many factors. Booking the right number of bedrooms is critical as although too many is a luxury, too few can be a big problem. We suggest that you check with everyone in advance to ensure that you have the right number of beds and bedrooms.

Although we can't promise this for all our cottages in Sconser and Highland, many of them are very close to a number of outdoor facilities. Couples can take long romantic walks (or even silent ones!), friends can get on bicycles, families can visit adventure parks or play tennis. However, if you're like us, we tend to use the time to relax, read a good book, catch up on sleep and generally laze around.

If you like self-catering then there really is no better option than a holiday cottage in Sconser. From home cooked meals to pub lunches and from smart restaurants to take away pizza, there's much more choice. Assuming you don't own a private helicopter, you're probably thinking about travelling in your own car. But we'd suggest that taking the car can add to the stress levels and you can arrive exhausted from a long drive. Buses and coaches are often surprisingly good value, and a train journey will take you through countryside you'll never see from the road.
