Berridale Holiday Cottages

Wherever you visit, you can usually find a good variety of places to stay; we realise that this isn't just restricted to cottages and that there is competition from b&bs and hotels. Highland is full of great places to stay, with self-catering accommodation in nearly every town. Cottage holidays have a unique feel to them and there are more and more cottages available in Berridale. Kids love staying in cottages and although hotels can have more facilities, there's not the same sense of adventure - and there are certainly more rules and regulations. The freedom to be able to come and go as you please, being able to cook your own food, or just being able to sleep in as long as you want.

Renting is a great way to spend a week away. Please try to book your holiday in advance as last minute reservations are possible but obviously not guaranteed! Choosing the right Berridale accommodation is sometimes complicated when there are so many factors. Understanding how many beds you need is often more important that any of the other facilities such as wi-fi. We suggest that you check with everyone in advance to ensure that you have the right number of beds and bedrooms.

Highland is blessed with a large number of very excellent holiday cottages suitable for families, couples and just friends. If you have any concerns with your booking, please contact the cottage operator directly since we are unable to help. Although we can't promise this for all our cottages in Berridale and Highland, many of them are very close to a number of outdoor facilities. Couples can take long romantic walks (or even silent ones!), friends can get on bicycles, families can visit adventure parks or play tennis. Or maybe you'd be happier sitting by the side of a river with a fishing rod, a cup of coffee and a good friend?

When staying with friends we think self-catering is the best way to stay in Berridale, it's just more fun. Whether you love cooking up a large stew, a roast dinner or just prefer a toasted cheese sandwich - it can match your mood. Cars are by far the preferred mode of transport and travel to Berridale and Highland. With the cost of petrol ever increasing it's worth investigating alternative travel arrangements. You could go by train or coach, with a short taxi ride at the other end, and then hire some bicycles to get around.
