Deane Holiday Cottages

Wherever you visit, you can usually find a good variety of places to stay; we realise that this isn't just restricted to cottages and that there is competition from b&bs and hotels. Many of our properties are situated in beautiful villages, quiet countryside or charming seaside towns. Cottage holidays have a unique feel to them and there are more and more cottages available in Deane. Taking your family away can be fun and stressful, but we find that staying in a cottage takes much of that stress away. You can get up late, stay up late, go for walks, stay inside - and eat whatever takes your fancy, exactly when you're hungry.

There are few things better than renting a Deane cottage for a week. We know that sometimes it's hard to book a long way in advance, but the benefits are obvious - more availability. The choice of Deane cottages is very broad so its important to understand what you need in advance. There's no doubt that being in the right town or village is a big factor, but the number of beds you need is more so. Although we can't promise this for all our cottages in Deane and Greater Manchester, many of them are very close to a number of outdoor facilities. From cycling and climbing right through to canoeing or just running around an empty field, there's no end of fun to be had. However, if you're like us, we tend to use the time to relax, read a good book, catch up on sleep and generally laze around.

The best thing (at least as far as we're concerned) about staying in a Deane holiday cottage is the self-catering. Now that doesn't mean you need to cook everything because there are plenty of places to eat out in Deane Greater Manchester. Cars are by far the preferred mode of transport and travel to Deane and Greater Manchester. With the cost of petrol ever increasing it's worth investigating alternative travel arrangements. Buses and coaches are often surprisingly good value, and a train journey will take you through countryside you'll never see from the road.
