Many of our properties are situated in beautiful villages, quiet countryside or charming seaside towns. The selection of Grays holiday cottages is increasing every year. The freedom to be able to come and go as you please, being able to cook your own food, or just being able to sleep in as long as you want.

Cottages in Essex range in size from small and quaint for a couple right up to properties that can accommodate more than 10. Although we can't promise this for all our cottages in Grays and Essex, many of them are very close to a number of outdoor facilities. Couples can take long romantic walks (or even silent ones!), friends can get on bicycles, families can visit adventure parks or play tennis. Or perhaps you're more interested in a pint of beer, a glass of wine or a gin and tonic in a traditional country pub?

When staying with friends we think self-catering is the best way to stay in Grays, it's just more fun. Now that doesn't mean you need to cook everything because there are plenty of places to eat out in Grays Essex. If you're like the majority of people you are probably assuming you will travel to Grays by car. With the rise in petrol and the cost of wear and tear on your car you should consider other options. Buses and coaches are often surprisingly good value, and a train journey will take you through countryside you'll never see from the road.
