Self-catering can make a cottage holiday in Mauchline much more flexible, allowing you to eat whatever you want (or can cook). Now that doesn't mean you need to cook everything because there are plenty of places to eat out in Mauchline East Ayrshire. Cars are by far the preferred mode of transport and travel to Mauchline and East Ayrshire. With the rise in petrol and the cost of wear and tear on your car you should consider other options. You could go by train or coach, with a short taxi ride at the other end, and then hire some bicycles to get around.
