Whether you love cooking up a large stew, a roast dinner or just prefer a toasted cheese sandwich - it can match your mood. Cars are by far the preferred mode of transport and travel to Bakewell and Derbyshire. But we'd suggest that taking the car can add to the stress levels and you can arrive exhausted from a long drive. You could go by train or coach, with a short taxi ride at the other end, and then hire some bicycles to get around.
