Without a doubt the main way holiday makers get to their cottage is by car, because it's the easiest. With the cost of petrol ever increasing it's worth investigating alternative travel arrangements. Buses and coaches are often surprisingly good value, and a train journey will take you through countryside you'll never see from the road.
