The best thing (at least as far as we're concerned) about staying in a Brampton holiday cottage is the self-catering. It's a relief to be able to eat whatever you fancy, and any time of the day, and of course self-catering can include take-aways. Cars are by far the preferred mode of transport and travel to Brampton and Cumbria. Although it's good to be able to hop in the car to the nearest town when you get there - don't you really just want to get away from it all? You could go by train or coach, with a short taxi ride at the other end, and then hire some bicycles to get around.
